London — Georgia May Jagger, the offspring of rocker Mick Jagger and model turned actress Jerry Hall, has been crowned the princess of London beauty as the face of UK beauty brand Rimmel London (and just so happens to be the face of Madonna’s “Material Girl” line for Macy’s). She recently visited the Rimmel Ashford factory, for a behind-the-scenes tour to see how their beauty products are made, including Scandaleyes Mascara, Match Perfection Foundation, and Moisture Renew Lipstick.
During her tour, Jagger lent a hand making products like mixing pigments for lipsticks. She even assisted Rimmel Vice President Alan Farer in making her own Match Perfection shade (pictured above). Later she joined makeup artist Kirstin Piggott for a “Makeup Masterclass” where beauty, tips, and trends were shared. Jagger who loves wearing makeup described the experience saying:
Who knew chemistry could be this fun … and it was such an incredible opportunity for me to be able to see how it is all made and even have the chance to make my own.
I wonder how many celebs who endorse brands actually get to check out the production process up close. I am so intrigued by this brand now, I think I might give some of their beauty bijoux a whirl!
