GLOBAL — When it comes to innate style, Kerry Washington has the "it" factor. She's the modern day Diane Carroll and Audrey Hepburn rolled into one – beauty, grace, and multi-talented. Did I mention she sings too? So when I saw her on the June cover of Elle magazine, I had to have a copy.

Kerry's career is booming. She co-starred with Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino's "DJango Unchained" (2013) and she's the lead actress in ABC's "Scandal" as Olivia Pope, a former White House communications director, who starts her own crisis manangement firm helping the political elite "fix" their image. Like her character, Kerry is tenacious, a go-getter, and more than a pretty face.

In the Elle article she talks about on-screen goals including her desire to get a main character role in a film, "I'm also looking to have more power to say no and the power to say yes, the power to make something happen."

Kerry also discusses her off-screen passion as an arts activist including her involvement with National Endowment of the Arts and Creative Coalition. She currently serves on President Obama's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

Whether it's on or off screen, there's no doubt that Kerry Washington is primed to make an impact. She's definitely a starlet I'm keeping on my radar! [ELLE]
