After years of taking viewers all around New York City, four friends have been an inspiration when it comes to love and labels. Carrie Bradshaw (Sara Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) are known for all of their crazy adventures in the Big Apple and have been fashion icons since the TV series first aired in 1998. Their influence escalated even more when the show hit the big screen and displayed various styles and even wedding dresses, including the famous wedding dress from Vivienne Westwood. Costume designer Patricia Field worked on the show and film, introducing looks from designer such as Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, and Manolo Blahnik. The franchise may or may not have a third movie in the works, but what’s definitely certain is that these legends will continue to inspire the world of fashion for years to come.
